"Afrique Exotica 2007"

  Afrique Exotica formerly Couture Exotica is about to kick off a weeklong exhibit of Music, Fashion and Art, September 17 to September 25, 2007. This Years celebration will consist of JD7 from Nigeria, Sun Goddess of South Africa and Vancouver Designer Chloe Angus showcasing fashion for the global mind. Teamed up with the Divas and Legends of Music Tour, Afrique Exotica will show case musical talents: Mariam Makeba, Abigail Kubeka, Dorothy Masuku, Thandi Klassen, Letta Mbuli, Busi Mhlongo, Yvonne Chakachaka, Gloria Bosman, Simphiwe Dana and Khanyo Maphumlo. Under the endorsement of Nelson Mandela, The Show will tour through Lagos, Calabar and Abuja. Raising funds for both F.R.E.E.: Family re-orientation, education and Empowerment (http://www.freefoundationafrica.org) and the Mary Slessor Foundation(www.maryslessor.org). Providing essential services to communities in Africa while instilling moral equality for women, literacy, empowerment and equality.
